WE HAVE TAKEN THE DECISION TO CLOSE OUR RECEPTION AREA AND DESK TO PATIENTS

We have taken the decision to change our appointment system to ensure that we are able to look after our patients in the safest possible manner. We are following the advice from NHS England and Public Health England.
We have suspended our appointment system for future bookings in order to ensure that we are prepared.
If you have an appointment already booked you may receive a call to see if it can be dealt with by telephone.
If you do visit the surgery, please do not be alarmed if the clinician and administrative staff are wearing a mask or taking other precautions.
If you wish to avoid the surgery, please cancel your appointment online or contact Reception to do this for you.
Please DO NOT attend the surgery if you suspect that you have Coronavirous (COVID-19). This is for the protection of our most vulnerable patients and our staff. We do not have any way of testing for the virus and it could lead to the entire surgery needing to close for the decontamination to be completed.

Dr Johnston & Partners is an established 3 Partner Practice and is part of Morecambe Bay CCG. We are based at Ulverston Community Health Centre in the lovely historic market town of Ulverston on the edge of the lake district.
Our goal is to provide quality healthcare for our patients and community in a caring, professional and confidential environment whilst delivering the highest standards of healthcare.
Our list size is just over 4470 and continues to grow at a steady rate. We currently have an open list and welcome any new patients who wish to register with the Practice.
We have a professional and dedicated management team as well as an excellent reception, admin and nursing team. They are always on hand to help our patients and provide them with the necessary information about the services we offer.
Our Practice has an established Patient Participation Group with whom we meet with on a regular basis. We feel it's extremely important to listen to and involve our patients in improving and developing the services we provide. There is more information about becoming a PPG Member in the patient group tab on the right hand side of this page.
The CQC came to inspect our Practice on Friday 17th March 2017. The overall rating for our Practice was GOOD.
